Such a great bag! I have one from the 90's and I still use it. This is such a great addition!
I bought this bag because it is supposedly 100% cotton and I wanted something simple that I could use frequently and toss in the wash whenever it got a little dirty. The product description says, "Machine Wash," but the laundry tag in the bag I received states that the bag should not be washed or dr...y cleaned. I thought that had to be a mistake, so I washed it in cold water on the gentle cycle and let it air dry. The material went from being smooth and soft to being stiff and scratchy. It cannot possibly be made completely of cotton, and I'm not sure that I want to know what other material(s) are in it. Not good, Gap - this is false advertising!

The bag is very well made and the denim is soft and high quality. It is a good size for shopping or picnics etc. My wife crochets squares and sews them to one side in various patterns to add a country look. They make a special gift for fam & friends.
