Fabric is super important to me in clothing and these flair yoga-like pants are both of a soft and yet heavy material. I tried both a S & XS, and the XS fit perfectly with an added bonus of the proper long length. I bought the only XS in the store & I came home and ordered another pair in the same c...olor, a beautiful blue. The quality of the fabric is so nice I ordered them in black even though they are on backorder till July. It's hard to find a nice quality (FLAIR) yoga pants. I do wish there were more flair styles to choose from.
These pants are way too long. The GAP must be using the electronic or iphone's measurement device to arrive at 30.5 inches in length. My dressmakers tape says 33 inches. If they had been 30.5 as advertised, I'd have kept the pants and been overjoyed to find them. Shame on you but hope this review he...lps save others trying to figure out what happened. If you cut the 2 inches off the bottom, they will not have the same nice shape, youd have to slim down the whole leg for them to look right. The Petite doesnt seem to appear to be much shorter Lets hope they go back to using the old school measuring devices. :) Electronic measuring devices dont bend lines, and peoples' legs are not a perfectly straight line. The waist size of medium seemed very,very true to size. The hassle free return policy came in handy.

I really want to love these but they are a little big in the hips. I ordered my usual large. They have a drawstring to tighten but I just don't know if I'm gonna keep them. Great material and overall good fit but I like them more tight. Perfect length not too long at all

I bought these when they first came out many years ago. They lasted so long and they were/ are the best pants to wear for any occasion. However, I mistakenly bought regular size and not petite due to longer length in "regular" option. I had them hemmed. Next pair, I bought petite. It was PERFECT! Please GAP bring back petite sizing for black color (not black stripe only). I need and love this pants! I am 5'4" tall.
