I ordered my typical size L and XL as a back up. The L was too tight around the hips and top of the thighs. The XL was way too big. Gap's maternity sizing seems to be off. I had to return some jean maternity shorts for being too tight around the hips too, may be the drawstring is the issue. They look cute, it's a shame they didn't fit. I'm 5'7 for reference.
I am 5' 8 and the length hits right above my ankles. And when pulled all the way up the waist band hits across the largest part of my belly. If I wear it below my belly the butt and crotch are saggy and they are still too short. I measured the inseam on my pair it's 28 inches. I can't make these work, I wish these were stocked in stores so I could try them on instead of buying online. The quality seems nice but these aren't for me.

Was just going to cut out the panel but shearing off 5 inches off the length is too much to ask.

Great in theory, but a weird fit. The Jean waistband hits at a strange height. For me, they're tight around the widest point of my thighs/hips, but baggy in the pockets.

Fits huuuuuge ! I ordered a large based on the hip size chart and they are so so so loose in the hips. Whats the point of using the size chart anyway. ? I'm normally a medium, so I should have stuck with that. I like the idea of this garment, just not the sizing inconsistencies. I can't be bothered to return it, so I'll keep it for later in my pregnancy should I gain a lot more weight. Fabric is soft and the elastic waist band stretches, on top of the panel stretching.

I'm usually a size M and these were too small for me
The belly band is a little restricting and thick. It's fine for me right now in the early stages of pregnancy, but I can see it being uncomfortable when my belly is bigger. #sweepstakes

These are nice jeans but I thought they would fit like other Gap jeans which were too small for me even after sizing up a couple sizes, so I bought a size up and I was swimming in them. Buy your true size, no need to size up on this one.
