I like them a lot better than I thought I would! They're a good weight. I'm still losing baby weight so I sized up. At 135lbs and 5'4", the size 27 regular length fits great!! I haven't washed them yet, so I'm not sure if they'll shrink at all, but I might need to shorten them maybe a centimeter if ...I want to wear them with flats and not have them touch the ground. The weight is nice. I feel like the modeled picture makes the jeans look like lightweight jeans, but they're definitely not. The side panel widens at the bottom so it makes the jeans look more wide leg than they are. I didn't think I'd like the raw hem, but the undone hem look is pretty cute on these jeans. I got them because they were on sale and I love the high rise stride fit. I really didn't think I'd like them that much, but now I'm wondering if I should get another pair. It makes a simple jean and T-shirt outfit a little more interesting. Definitely recommend!
I bought these in December, size 27 (4) long and they fit beautifully. I love them so much I came back to buy more. I bought them in the dark wash and black. The size 27 long was so small I couldn't get the zipper up. So, I returned them and ordered size 28 long. Those were also too tight! I ha...d to return those too. I read the reviews and I don't understand why the sizing is such a problem for me. So, dear GAP, can you please explain the discrepancy in the sizes of these jeans? I am so disappointed. 5 stars for the first pair, 2 stars for the last 4 pairs that didn't fit and the hassle of returning them.

These jeans are exactly what I've been searching for. They fit nicely on the waist with a hint of stretch. The legs are loose and wide. The length is great on me as I only wear flat shoes. I'm 5'8" and got a regular. The dark denim is smart.

It deserves 5 stars, the color is beautiful, very soft fabric, nice cut. But….. sizing is a real issue and I hope the Gap is paying attention to this. Due to all the reviews regarding size inconsistency, I ordered sizes 27 & 28 for each color. I'm a size 27. The black was extremely small and either size didn't fit. The beach pebble and indigo size 28 fit nicely; except for the length; they need alteration. I'm keeping them and the rest will be returned!! I ordered petite: But…. again, length inconsistency. All jeans were extremely loooooong!!!!
