I usually only buy higher-end shoes for my kids to ensure they are comfortable, supportive, and durable. My 3 year old really wanted these, so I caved, thinking she could just wear them on occasion. To my surprise, they're good shoes! She didn't get any blisters and they've held up to her running around outside in them.
