Quality sweater

I like the quality of this sweater, but because of the way it's cut, I think a petite cut would compliment my figure better. I took a risk and bought a regular size because brown wasn't offered in petites. I will be returning this sweater soon and I'm hoping to see brown offered in petites in this...

This sweater is lovely and a beautiful heritage piece. However, this is vastly smaller than similar gap sweaters. The other 100% cotton sweaters I have from this season are all XS - I'm 5'9" and 120lbs, I have to size up to a L to get a similar fit - otherwise the sleeves are SO short and the sweater looks too cropped. My normal XS or S literally looks like a child's sweater. I'd take at least one, if not two, sizes up from your normal GAP sweater size.

Amazing quality, thick, 100% cotton. I do wish I had sized up a bit. I would say it does fit like a medium, I just prefer slightly oversized sweaters. Gap sells some sweaters that are naturally oversized, this is not one of them. I would size up u less you are very petite.

Love this sweater! I bought it in both black and white. Love that GAP keeps putting out sweaters that are 100% cotton. The fit is also perfect. So happy with this purchase!
